The National Portrait Gallery approached us to design a microsite to support the
Gerhard Richter exhibition. We wanted to provide a clear framework to display the images and catalogue text, but we also tried to reflect the haunting yet serene style of the artists work.
The muted pallete of the final site design coupled with a simple yet effective navigation allowed the images to speak for themselves from a neutral (but not whitecube) background.
