The British Museum has been developing a series of websites under the umbrella 'Ancient Civilizations'.
We have been working on the second in the series. This website, has been designed to support National Curricula Keystages 2 and 3,
(children aged 8-11) although we feel that it has appeal for a varied audience.
We were envolved in many aspects of the site, from the writing of the code, to the look and feel of the site. We created graphics,
animation and navigation enabling the presentation of information on the ancient civilization of Mesopotamia useing a variety of
devices to interpret the objects and historical evidence, including stories, games and exploration devices to allow the visitor to
investigate and understand different aspects of Mesopotamian culture. |
