| The National Maritime Museum have an extensive outreach programme, and in the run up to World Mental Health
Day they ran a number of projects and workshops in collaboration with Greenwich Dance Agency and the Opportunities Team in Greenwich Social Services.
As a response to the workshops the Museum decided to hold an event celebrating the artwork created. Nicky was part of the board that chose the work to be shown, all the artwork drew on the themed of the sea, and was created by people with mental health difficulties. As the work was very different both visually and in approach it was very important that the design of the panels gave the diverse work cohesion as well as giving the display it's own identity without overpowering the work. Both the artists and the client were very happy with the result, and feedback from the general public was very positive. |
