We were asked to design the exhibition Thomas Frye's 'Fancy Heads' two remarkable series of mezzotints - highly original images of fictional men and women, notable for their striking poses, enigmatic expressions, fashionable and exotic costume.
 
Working with restricted boundaries and respectful of the existing architecture we designed panels, labels, posters and to encourage visitors to explore the themes of identity. We also created 'identity cards' for the portraits which the visitors filled in. This proved a successful way of actively engaging the visitors in the exhibition.
